Face without visible surface defects, lamellas with or without brown and redheart and sorted for homogeneous colour.

permitted features:

  • solid wood sound knots
  • isolated closed small knots up to Ø 3 mm
  • sporadic discolorations or mineral spots, becoming visible after sanding
    (50 mm long and 3 mm wide)
  • sporadic lamellas with diminishing redheart
  • sporadic lamellas without redheart


The grading of the back side in non-visible areas will be discussed individually with the customer.
