Beechwood, lightly steamed:

Side A

(Face without visible surface defects and sorted for homogeneous colour)

permitted features:

  • solid grown sound knots
  • individual closed small knots up to a diameter of 3 mm
  • individual discolorations and mineral spots, becoming visible after sanding
    (50 mm long and 3 mm wide)
  • slight variances in colour, partially caused by year ring structure


The grading of the back side in non visible areas will be discussed individually with the customer.
